Message from Lori...
What’s Next? Who Knows?
This newsletter is a few days late as I arrive
back from beautiful, gorgeous Oregon via Reno
and Zion National Park, and figure out what my
new routine will be. I am determined to lead a
more simple life, yet I find my computer
distracts me and my work still embraces me, in a
very passionate way of course!
So practicing the Tao has some fabulous
advantages for me. I feel very accepting of all
the changes in my life, and not stressed by any
of them. For those of you who keep asking, what
is next, all I can tell you is only time will
tell. Right now, what I know is I’m still doing
the
radio show, a
women’s retreat
in Sedona, an all day
Transcending Divorce
workshop, I’ve started my own
BLOG! And
my house sold and I am selling my
rental
house on e-bay!
So join me in the practice this month of not
knowing, and of being ok not knowing.
As always, please share these newsletters with
friends and family.
Blessings to you...Lori

Wits End!
Trials and Tribulations of Raising a Teen!
Weston, Florida - Parent Sue Scheff knows
all too well the frustrations of dealing with a
troubled teen. Being a single mom was tough, but
as daughter Ashlyn reached her teenage years,
the problems became too much to handle. Bad
decisions and difficult situations left Sue
Scheff with no choice but to look to outside
help for her troubled teen and salvation for
strained family.
What she didn’t know continues to haunt her.
Seven years after her devastating travels
through the teen help industry, Sue Scheff has
become an advocate for safe alternatives and
parent education. Through her organization,
Parents Universal Resource Experts, Scheff has
helped numerous families safely and successfully
find help. more info:

Yes! Your Marriage Can Be Saved!
Mae and Erika Chambers, mother and
daughter and co-authors of Can My Marriage Be
Saved?: True Stories of Saved Marriages,
tell the stories of 25 couples whose marriages
were, at one point, seemly beyond hope. WHAT: A
marriage can go wrong for a myriad of reasons,
but even the most damaged marriage can often be
restored. Even in the midst of severe problems
such as infidelity, financial instability,
sexual problems and unfulfilled expectations,
the couples in this book show how a marriage can
recover.

Divorce – October 11 – Sedona

There will be an all day Transcending Divorce
Class on October 11th. Location is not decided,
except that it will be in the Verde Valley. AND,
this class will be free this time only, and I
will be making a film of the class. All
participants will need to sign a waiver. If you
are interested, please let me know.
Here are some of the benefits you can get from
the book and class:
-
Learn to understand that divorce is truly a
gift that leads towards your spiritual and
emotional self growth.
-
Move into love, forgiveness, and
appreciation for the life lessons you
learned from your spouse.
-
Move from the place of victim to the place
of the healed survivor.
-
Understand and take responsibility for your
part in the breakup.
-
Release guilt and shame and forgive yourself
for your part in the breakup.
