My friend
Susan just asked me a great question and I want to share it
with you:
How would
your life change if you realized this lifetime was NOT about
"working on yourself" or "learning your lessons," but was
really all about "recess"? |
And the Results are in...
What a fascinating process this book launch has been. With the
support of my wonderful and talented bonus gift partners, friends
and family, approximately 80,000 e-mails went out asking people
to buy my book,
Transcending Divorce: A Guide for Personal Growth and Transformation,
from Amazon. Amazon ranks the books according to how many were
sold. Interestingly, it is almost impossible for writers to find
out the number of books sold. From what I understand, in July,
I’ll have an idea of the number sold.
Here’s what I do know. Two weeks ago, I was approximately
3,600,000 in the rankings of books sold on Amazon. On the
day of the launch, I went to 1270. So stand up and cheer!
That is success!!!!
Here’s a giant thank you to all of you who participated by
sending out e-mails and/or purchasing a book! I could not
have done this without you! Your support means so much to
me!
But here is what I want you all to know. In 2003, I received
an e-mail from Steven E, a man I never heard of, saying he’s
writing a book, like Chicken Soup for the Soul, and he asked
if I wanted to submit a story. Without hesitating, I sat
down, wrote for 45 minutes, and sent it back. He loved it
and I became a published author! Not just a published
author, but the co-author of a BEST SELLER, with well-known
names such as Wayne Dyer, John Assraf, and Joe Vitale.
I did not think. I did not analyze, I acted from an intuitive
sense of yes, this sounds good. That one little action
led to this book launch four years later. I now have the honor
of publishing a fantastic book that will help hundreds, if not
thousands of people. How many lives will be changed as a result
of me taking a little baby step and submitting an essay to an
unknown book,
Wake Up…Live the Life You Love.
If I can do this, I guarantee YOU CAN TOO! If you are ready to

Challenge
Take a leap…do one thing that
makes you stretch, makes you slightly uncomfortable, that
challenges you beyond your comfort zone, that makes your
stomach flip out, that creates a little anxiety. YOU KNOW
this particular step is big and it will take you someplace…a
place you haven’t been to before. Notice the pride you feel
in yourself as you do something brave, challenging, and
exciting! Please send me your success stories so I can share

Standing Firm on Feminine Ground – In August, I
will be holding a fabulous retreat overlooking the Pacific Ocean
on the Bandon Oregon Coast. I love how this retreat is coming
together. I love the name and I am passionate about the concept
of women standing firm on feminine ground. What connotation do
you get when you feel yourself standing firm? Stop reading for
a second; close your eyes and breathe into the concept. What do
you feel? Imagine the smell of the ocean air, visualize a group
of women loving, laughing and crying tears of joy together.

The picture that comes to mind for me is
Limitless Boundaries.
It’s not the restrictive kind of boundaries, but the expansive
kind. The kind that leaves you feeling full but not stuffed, strong
and able to leap tall buildings. Through this vision, it is my
intention that you leave the retreat having created limitless
boundaries for yourself. Step up and into your feminine power
and space. Get your needs met on a regular, consistent basis.
Live life from the heart, the heart of patience, love, playfulness

is the theme of Lori’s book signing and playshop in
